Arus ini kemudian diteruskan ke fuel pump relay yang memiliki 4 terminal dengan kode 30 arus dari baterai, kode 85 masuk ECM, kode 86 dijamper positif baterai, dan kode 87 ke beban berupa fuel pump. Sehingga ketika kunci kontak ON, maka akan langsung timbul bunyi “ngiiing” pada tangki bahan bakar dikarenakan sistem fuel pump telah aktif. Setelah switch starter dipencet, maka arus akan mengalir ke switch ignition melalui kabel dengan kode R/W Red – White / Merah – Putih serta output dengan kode kabel Br/R Brown – Red / Coklat – Merah yang berujung pada ECM guna mengontrol Injector untuk mengatur suplai bahan bakar ke ruang bakar sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan beban mesin. Mesin bisa menyala dalam setiap kondisi dikarenakan ada beberapa sensor pendukung yang memiliki kode kabel sebagai berikut. MAP sensor memiliki kode kabel Gr/Y Grey – Yellow / Abu-abu – Kuning, TP sensor memiliki kode kabel Y Yellow / Kuning, IAT sensor memiliki kode kabel Gr/Bu Grey – Blue / Abu-abu – Biru, ECT sensor memiliki kode kabel Y/Bu Yellow – Blue / Kuning – Biru, Bank Angle Sensor memiliki kode kabel R/Bu Red – Blue / Merah – Biru, O2 sensor memiliki kode kabel Bl/W Blue Light – White / Biru Muda – Putih, Serta Injector memiliki kode kabel Bl/Bu Blue Light – Blue / Biru Muda – Biru. Semua sensor memiliki 3 terminal, yang disebut tadi adalah terminal positifnya. Adapun kedua terminal lain memiliki kode yang sama untuk semua sensor yaitu G/W Green – White / Hijau – Putih dan Y/R Yellow – Red / Kuning – Merah.
